Walden V was an entrant into the 2006 Campus MovieFest, a competition that sees what students at universities all across the nation can create when given a theme, a camera, a laptop, and a week to create a movie. Given only the theme of "V," our team created a trailer for a non-existant sequel in a as-yet-to-be-created action film series based on Henry David Thoreau's classic transcendentalist work, Walden. The short is both a spoof of action movie trailers as well as the classic texts.

Walden V was truly a team effort, combining the many talents of the entire crew to create a cohesive whole. This well-integrated work was rewarded when the trailer won Best Film of Boston College and Best Costumes of Boston as well as being nominated for Most Original Concept.
